My love affair with Provence began 12 years ago when I attended my first cooking school at Julia Child’s home in Plascassier. Ever since, I ’ve made it a point to return to Southern France as often as possible to visit what has become my home away from home, and to share this extraordinary corner of the world with you—my Guests and fellow travelers.
The abundant markets, sidewalk cafés, sunbaked villages, incredible rugged mountain views and kind, welcoming people inspired me to start Jackdaw Journeys. Do you share my passion for the road less traveled, wines and foods that bring one’s palate alive, and moments that make indelible marks on our memories? Then come along… with me!
I may just have the best job in the world, hosting Guests like you on the best, getaway French vacation adventures imaginable. No matter how often I have the pleasure of guiding a group on an intimate tour of authentic Provence, I , too discover things anew—as if experiencing Provence for the very first time… exploring the sights, sounds, scents and favors that make this a truly special place.
